You can opt to dye your Human Hair extensions to achieve your desired shade. Our sets can be safely toned/dyed as Portia & Alexa Hair is a premium quality 100% Human Hair . 

Like most human hair extensions, Portia & Alexa Hair should not be bleached or lightened. Our hair goes through a long dying process to achieve our gorgeous shades, therefore please do not attempt to bleach or lighten your extensions as this may cause damage, shedding and dryness to the hair.

Dying Hair Extensions Disclaimer.

All hair extensions & dyes are different. You cannot guarantee your product will produce the same results from brand to brand. We do not cover any costs nor take any responsibility for any issues you may encounter during or after the dying/toning process as we cannot be sure how your specific product reacts or the method in which it was applied. Always test your dye/toner one small piece of hair first to ensure it gives you the results you want.

Dying/toning is considered drastic modification of the product as these products contain quite harsh chemicals that may effect the feel, condition & lifespan of your set. It may increase the chance of dryness, shedding, tangling & breakage. Our hair goes through a long dying and bleaching process to get it to our fabulous shades.

Our I Tip Hair Extension sets contain 1 gram per strand, and remain thick all the way to the ends.  Suitable for adding length and thickness to your natural hair, with an easy to apply system.

For an average full head recommend  100 pieces and for a thicker more voluminous look we would recommend 150 pieces.

I Tip Hair Extensions are attached to your hair with micro beads .You loop a very small section of your hair through the loop, and then you tighten the bead by clamping the tip around your real hair. (Professional application is recommended).

You will need 5mm Micro beads, Hair Extension Pliers and a  Pulling Loop to apply these. These can be found in our store under the accessories section.

Step 1: Prep Your Hair

Start with clean, dry hair. Gently detangle your natural hair using a wide-tooth comb to avoid breakage.

Step 2: Section Your Hair

Create neat horizontal sections using a tail comb. Clip the upper hair away to keep sections clean and easy to work with.

Step 3: Apply the Extensions

Clip-In / Ponytail: Secure the clips firmly close to the roots.

Tape-In: Sandwich a thin section of your natural hair between two tape wefts.

Nano Ring / Micro Bead: Insert a small section of hair into the ring/bead and secure it using pliers.

Weft Extensions: Sew, bead, or attach the weft based on your preferred method.

Step 4: Blend & Style

Gently blend your natural hair with the extensions using fingers or a soft brush. Style as desired using heat tools (heat protection recommended).

Step 5: Final Check

Ensure all extensions are secure and comfortable. Avoid pulling or excessive tension at the roots.
